Van Gogh glass is an American made, clear glue chip glass that is imprinted with different textures on the back of the glass. The textured back is then painted with a high quality, metallic automotive paint. This allows the different patterns of the glue chip glass to be accentuated & creates an unusual & striking foiled effect. The metallic paint on the back is then covered by top coat of black paint that is similar to mirror backing, so the glass is reflective, completely opaque, & has a mirror like depth. 

 The glass color of the wing is violet/blue sparkle color shift glass, & one of my personal favorites.

Some things to know before you explore your options:

• Van Gogh Glass is available in 3 different textures: Fern, Rain & Flora.

• The "Color Shift" varieties are painted with a chameleon like automotive paint, so the color shifts from one color to the next as the viewing angle changes.

• The "Sparkle" varieties have an extra metallic shine to them.

• All glass options are subject to availability & will need to be ordered if not on hand in the studio. If the glass has to be ordered, it can add an additional 2-3 weeks to your orders lead time.
